ipsy January 2016

The theme for the first month of this new year is "All Eyes on You." The bag is an adorable print with a 60s feel. I love it.

Let's see what my first ipsy products of the year are.

ipsy January 2015

My personal image.
My January bag was a lot prettier in person than the pictures. I didn't think I was going to like the design of the bag, but I really loved it. It is very cute for the new year.

Alright now the products I got.

This was the first time I'd tried J. Cat gel eyeliner and I have to say I was very pleased! The shade we received was blue black and I actually really liked it. It went on like silk and was long wearing after it dried of course. I really love this and it was full size.

I was a little confused about this product. It is pink in the tube, super pink. I used it like a highlighter and it's a subtle sheen on the cheeks. I actually like mixing it with my foundation. It doesn't do a whole lot, but just a little hint of something extra. This sample will last for quite a while.

I was really wanting an eye cream so this came just in time. It doesn't have the best smell, but that is alright. I didn't find this amazing or anything. It was just okay. It kept my under eyes moisturized but it wasn't anything amazing.

Pacifica Natural Mineral Coconut Eye Shadow

There were two color options for this shadow, Ethereal and Treasure. I received Ethereal and it is a pretty nude shade. It is very pretty on the eyes. You can wear it alone or on top of a shadow to give it a shimmer look. You could also use this to highlight the face. I just love this.

I have some Real Techniques brushes and this one also didn't disappoint. It worked fabulously with the gel eyeliner that came in my bag. I have to say that this little brush is pretty great. I didn't have a brush this slim in my collection so this is nice to add to it.

Overall, January was a hit as well. The makeup bag this month was great quality and very stylish. All my products were good for me.
