COVERGIRL VoxBox

I haven't done a VoxBox in a while and recently I received this Covergirl one about their new mascara Full LashBloom. It comes in an adorable pink tube shaped like their LashBlast line.

Let's look at the packaging.

It is super cute and pink. The bristles are a pink plastic. They are a little prickly so be careful when you are getting really close to your roots of your lashes. The color is a nice dark black. It isn't waterproof, however, I didn't have an issues of it sliding around all over the place. It was easy to remove thank goodness. Nothing like having to fight to remove your mascara.

It gives a nice look to your lashes, or it did to mine anyway. You have to remember that not everyone has the same eye or eyelashes and that mascara will work differently for each person. For me this did a great job and separating my lashes and giving them a nice full look. I love wearing this everyday. It is easy to apply and doesn't clump up. It holds curl good for me and I always curl my eyelashes before any mascara since they are slightly straight.

Overall, I would say this is a great product. It looks great on my lashes. It is super lightweight. It stays on and is easy to remove when you are ready to. It's a good day to day mascara.

Disclaimer: I received this product complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes. Any opinion is my own.

ipsy July 2014

My personal image

This month's bag is super adorable. Bright pink with the scalloped edges is perfect for me.

Alright, lets explore what I got!

There were two color options for this sample and I received the shade Divine Wine. I love this shade. It is great to wear alone or to use as a base for your other shadow. This is very opaque and long lasting. This is a super fast and easy way to have some color on your eyes. I really love it. I would like to buy more shades.

This product is lovely. It's packaged adorably and smells sweet like cherries. It stains the lips and cheeks to a beautiful rose color or build it up to a red. This will stay all day long. I would definitely recommend this product to others.

This was not the product for me. As soon as I took the plastic wrapper off the bottle the ginger smell hit me in the face. I despise ginger anything so I knew this wouldn't be for me. I didn't even test out the lotion to see if I liked the formula because I knew I'd probably vomit from the ginger scent being on my skin. It may be great for someone else but not for me. I'm not going to say this is a bad product. I really wish I had a different scent combo that way I could have tried it.

This bronzer is a good shade for me. It had great pigmentation so you don't have to apply a whole lot of product to get results. I'm a pretty pale person and I didn't have any trouble getting this to work for me. I use this nearly every day. I really like this and recommend it to other for sure.

I really enjoyed this moisturizer and loved that it has spf 30. The only downside to this product is the price! It is so expensive. A 1.7oz bottle is $55 and that is crazy to me. I liked this so much, but I won't be purchasing it because of that crazy price tag. If you have the money then go ahead and buy it because it's great!

Overall July's bag was great. I loved the makeup bag. The pink and scalloped edges are too cute. I really loved every product but the citrus and ginger lotion. I really enjoyed this bag.

This mascara seems to be hit and miss with each bag. Mine didn't smell off or anything thankfully. I tried this out and it is a okay mascara. It doesn't do a whole lot for my lashes. It does an excellent job at separating the lashes but that is about it. This is a good everyday or work mascara.

Marc Anthony Dream Waves Beach Spray

This beach spray was good and smelled great. It worked as it is supposed to. I wouldn't run out to purchase this again though because I personally don't like styling my hair wavy or "beachy." I prefer my hair just straight. I liked using this and then pulling my hair into a high pony. It gave good texture.

Nicka K New York Shimmer Eyeliner

There were two color options for this liner and I received the blue. I'm not a big fan of the color because you can't wear it daily. The formula was great. Went on super easily and lasted all day. Sadly, I wish I had different color.

There were three color options you could receive and I got the shade Apple Strudel. This was my first time trying a NYX Butter Gloss and I'm in love. The shade is stunning for me and the formula is just fantastic. I would love to have just about every shade. It is super creamy and pigmented as well. I was pleased with this product.

This sample came with three shades. I used the light shade and it worked great for me. This was a very nice product. I enjoyed using it and would recommend it to others. It looked great on the skin and was light to medium coverage.

Overall this bag was okay for me. I really loved the bag design this month. I didn't feel I needed to run out and purchase the full size of each product I received however I did enjoy trying each one. I really loved the NYX Butter Gloss.

ipsy May 2014

My personal image.

I loved the bag this month. The adorable green leaves is perfect for me. I still carry this one in my purse each day. It has a pretty good amount of space in it. It holds my makeup I keep with me and some.

I'm the average person and I use something from the drugstore so I didn't really see the need to run out and purchase this adorably packaged sunscreen. It worked great. I used it on a day I went to a theme park and it kept me from burning. I used it on my face that day too and I didn't break out or anything crazy, which is a super plus. Overall it is a fine product but I prefer the Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration sunscreen.

There were two options you could receive and I got Moonbeam and Unicorn duo. I was really excited about this until I used it. The colors aren't very pigmented. You have to apply so much to try and get any color on the eyes. It works great if you want a light natural look on your eyes but if you wanted the plum color in the pan then you will be disappointed.

Four different color options for this nail polish. I got the color shown here, Champagne. It looked terrible on my hand. It didn't work with my skin tone. I gave it to my Mother-in-law and it looked great on her nails. I was sad that I couldn't wear the color so I don't really know if I like the polish or not because all I did was swatch it on myself. I wish I had gotten the red or the pink color instead.

This worked great for my combination skin. The only downside to this is the price! This is crazy expensive for a daily moisturizer. I'm sure you can find a product that works just as nice at a lower price point. If you have money to just throw around then go right ahead and purchase it. It's a great lightweight moisturizer. Full size is $55 for 1.7oz bottle.

I love makeup brushes and was super excited about getting this. However, mine was scratchy. I don't reach for it very often because it can irritate my eye and make it itchy. This was a big fail for me, sadly.

Overall my May bag was decent. I really enjoy the makeup bag this month. The products weren't anything to die for though.
