"Norwegian Formula® Hand Cream has been the best weapon in the fight against damaged skin for 40 years. But Norwegian Formula® has become more than a tool for elements-exposed fishermen — it can extend the life of manicures, too. Applying even small amounts of this hyper concentrated, glycerin-rich cream to hands, nails and lips can undo seasons of damage to weary skin and improve the look and feel of nails. In fact, Neutrogena’s Norwegian Formula® Hand Cream has proven so effective at repairing and protecting skin that it earned a 2012 Good Housekeeping Seal." -BzzAgent
I received the Norwegian Formula® Hand Cream from BzzAgent a couple of days ago and it has made my hands feel wonderful! This hand cream is extremely concentrated so a little drop goes a long way. In my BzzKit I received a full size unscented hand cream and 6 small tubes of the original. I really like the smell of the original hand cream, however, if you are allergic to fragrances the unscented works exactly the same.
Look how thick the formula is!
It feels amazing on your skin. You can also use this on your dry chapped lips!
So in the spirit of healthy hands I'm going to share a step-by-step guide for a great manicure!
First step: You will need to prepare your nails for the treatment. Go ahead and use nail polish remover and cotton balls to remove any nail polish already on your nails. After that wash your hands in warm, soapy water and pat dry.
Step two: Now you want to shape your nails, either square or rounded edges, I prefer round edges whenever I have natural nails. Use nail clippers to take away excess and make your nails shorter, then file the edges smooth. You want to move across the nail in a fluid motion not a sawing back and forth motion. The sawing motion can weaken nails, be gentle for better end results.
Step three: You will want to soak your hands in a bowl of warm water with a drop or soap or nail cream in it for about five minutes. This will soften your cuticles and moisturize the nails for the new steps. After fice minutes pat them dry.
Step four: Place a drop of cuticle cream onto each nail and rub it in. This is where I use some of Neutrogena’s Norwegian Formula® Hand Cream (a tiny bit on each nail). Using a cuticle stick, gently push back your cuticles. Don't cut the cuticles, as this can lead to infection.
Step five: Now you are going to rinse you hands in warm, soapy water and dry gently, then apply the hand lotion, I use Neutrogena’s Norwegian Formula® Hand Cream. Rub it into the hands, fingers, and the nails. and let it absorb in.
Tada, now you are ready to start painting your nails! I prefer my nails bare, but you can paint yours any way you'd like to.
I hope you enjoy this step-by-step guide.
Have you tried Neutrogena’s Norwegian Formula® Hand Cream?
