ipsy Subscription

For the last 10 months I have been doing ipsy. I actually have enjoyed this so much. I have decided to start reviewing each bag here for everyone to read. Hopefully, this doesn't turn into a hot mess. 

So coming soon will be reviews of each month I am subscribed, starting with March 2014.

For those of you that don't know what ipsy is, it is a $10/month subscription service. They offer beauty related items. Anything from makeup, hair care, skin care, and makeup tools. You take a personal quiz about your skin, hair, and other things like that then each month you get a bag curated to your quiz. Every month there is a theme and new makeup bag.

Spring Fling VoxBox

I'm super excited to be in the Spring Fling VoxBox! I'm just waiting for it to arrive.

GREEN MOUNTAIN COFFEE® FAIR TRADE CERTIFIED™ BzzCampaign

First things first, let me explain what Fair Trade Certified means, because if you were like me you probably don't know. Fair Trade Certified means "farmers get a fair price for their beans with a guaranteed minimum, which means they can invest in their crops, their communities, and their future."(http://www.choosefairtrade.com/fair-trade-story)

How? Well, Fair Trade supports farmers by:

- Ensuring a fair price for their harvest

- Providing access to consumer markets, cutting out unnecessary middlemen

- Helping farmers gain affordable access to credit

- Promoting sustainable farming practices

- Supporting community development such as roads and schools

Now since you have a little background on Fair Trade lets talk about this BzzCampaign. Kelly Clarkson was a big part of this campaign in which she traveled all the way to Peru to learn all the good Fair Trade does. We each received a brochure detailing her trip. Inside we see her experiences like picking coffee cherries, coffee bean selection, and even taste testing as well. She was very involved and so was the community there. There are many benefits of Fair Trade. One example is that it supports kids' education and in my opinion that is pretty important. Children are our future, therefore our future is benefiting from Fair Trade as well.

In my opinion this is all just amazing, but the BzzCampaign got better. We received free coffee* as well!

Being a part of this BzzCampaign was a great experience. It is times like this one where I'm really thankful for being  BzzAgent. Fair Trade in an amazing thing and I happy to be a part of it.
